I have a legitimate copy of Pool Party and when I poped it in, the following error message poped up :"An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii console off and refer to the Wii Operations Manual for the help troubleshooting." I tried several of my backups (Metroid, Boogie, Mario Strikers, Madden 08, and some imports) and they worked just fine! I tried 2 more times and still the same: the above error message and the backups still boot up like normal. Don't know what's wrong?!? I have a US Wii modded with offical Wiikey and firmware 2.2u.
Thanks in advance.

Turn off WiiConnect24 you won't ever get pool party to play again but it won't do it to any other game.

I don't think I have it on (usually before I start to play, I turn it on just to check "Everybody votes" channel and after I'm done playing, I turn it off. So unless I forgot.... but I don't think so.) But why Wiiconnect has anything to do with that game, it's not a wifi game, right? Anyway, I'll check on that. Thanks for the help!

My Wiisports(original) and Metroid prime 3 (burned), Worked fine untill sunday 16th. Then I turned off Wiiconnect24 and all my other burns and orginals still work fine. But those still do not work anymore and I get the "An error has occurred. Press the Eject Button and remove the disc, then turn the Wii console off and refer to the Wii Operations Manual for the help troubleshooting" error right when I hit start game on them.

Do you have Wiikey and 2.2u firmware? All of my games work fine, the only time when I have Wiiconnect on is when I play Mario Strikers. As for Metroid and other games, as soon as I poped in the games and saw the icon show up on Wii Menu, I assumed that the game should work. So your Metroid doesn't work anymore?? Does the icon even show up on the Wii Menu? What mod chip and firmware do you have?

That's really weird! For Pool Party (and any games that don't play) the icons or the pictures won't even show on Wii Channel Menu. Metroid & Boogie were like that (no picture or picture show up on Wii Menu) but after I update, they both show up and I did actually played. Mine is still 2.2u so hope I won't have any problems. I'll try couple of them today to make sure.
