I've been searching for a thread that can help but no luck on my side, but maybe I'm blind...anyways.. I have all three discs ripped and all into eboots just fine. Then when I play it, on the first disc in the midgar tunnels and I get into a fight, it just glitches up. The screen goes static and green, like when you turn to a channel you don't have on your TV, but it's green. I've tried re-ripping with different programs, alcohol, nero, and still no luck. Maybe it's the settings on my psp that is wrong. I am currently on 3.40 oe-a. Anyone else have any problem similar on M33? if not then I'll just update to M33.

Do any of your versions of FFVII have small boarders on the top and bottom? I downloaded the malaki torrent and it has small boarders, even though it says America on the PSX screen...

Does anyone have a save game file that takes place after the Bugenhagen freeze? Can someone convert a PS2 save game ot the PSP save game file?

I am having the exact same problem, as soon as i give Bugenhagen the key the screen freezes bt the music still plays. Can anyone help? I got this game from a friend but I also own the game on ps1, can i rip the game onto psp and see if that solves the problem? or does anyone have a saved state after? Any help is appreciated.

The copy I had, which probably the same as you, was downloaded. I ripped the game off of my PS1 disk and now I dont have the problem. Just make sure that when you re-rip disc 2 that you change the game ID in Popstation to match the game you are currently playing. If not then it will not recognize your save game.

I dont have a guide for it, but I imagine if you search the forums you can see one with a title like PSX to PSP. It has been documented many times, just keep in mind the game ID as that isnt always mentioned since it only applies to multi disc games from different sources.

I'm having a different type of issue with FF7. Disc 1, buttons are default, x is cancel, 0 is accept, disc 2, the reverse. With it reversed it's making it impossible to breed chocobos as you have to press o to select the one you want but that cancels the action, and x doesn't work. So if anyone has any ideas on how to remap buttons in ff7 eboot, please let me know. I'm running m33 3.71, 1.50addon. changing the setting in recovery does nothing. It's an eboot specific issue. Thanks again

update for those of you interested in the previous problem. If ur having problems with one of the discs during gameplay and need to substitute another disc just to pass a specific part, you dont need to change the whole game id. Just open ur save state folder on psp mem. card and change the saved state folder name. i.e. it should say something like scusxxxx <<< the xxxx's are the game id, so if you have ff7 94.16 just put scus9416 w/out the "." thats wt i did and it worked perfectly.
