Hey guys, you know how there's a couple .avi movies "floating" around the internet, and sometimes the quality seems so close to dvd quality and other times it's pretty horrendous...

I was wondering if there was a tool that could read the .avi and tell you if it a decent copy or not.

Cuz sometimes these .avi files come with a text file that lists a bunch of info on how it came to be

Thanks in advance

Hey thanks man

It lists the image width and height

the audio bitrate and audio format

and the video frame rate, data rate, video sample size, and video compression.

Does anyone have a link as to what the standard attributes are and what some of these mean, or should i just compare my really good files with the not so good ones?

No. If you have the avi to use a tool on... why don't you just look at it?
