Heya guys,

I recently made a back up of Rogue Galaxy, the PAL (Uk) version. It is a 8.5 dual layer disc, so I burnt it using a Verbatim disc and using Imgburn.

However, I use Imgburn for xbox360 back ups and set the layer break to 1913760, but when i make a burn of rogue galaxy, it prompted me to change the layer break to 2080384.

I also have a slimline PS2 with a modchip installed.

After burning at 2.4x, verified, the game loads and plays really well up until a point where it freezes completely (Quite far into the game, approx 20hours). When I put the original disc in, it loads fine.

I'm completely baffled as to what went wrong, good software, good dvd+rs, and i burnt another one again just to make sure, but the same issue.

Anyone know if this is a case of the PS2 not being able to read it because of it being dual layer or am I doing it wrong? Or coulds it be a brand new copy protection method?

Thanks for any advice.
