if it doesn't show up in the game/memory stick of the xmb, shorten the name of the cso.
if it stays at a black screen, you might have to update. 3.40 oe-a or 3.52 m33-4 will do it.

maybe a bad rip? try updating to a higher cfw, and see if that fixes it.

You will have to update to a higher firmware. 3.40 OE-A or 3.52 M33-4
I suggest updating to 3.52 m33-4. Make sure you update to 3.52 M33 first before updating with the M33-4 update.
Below are the files you will need.
3.52 M33 HERE
3.52 M33-4 HERE
3.52 firmware HERE
1.50 firmware HERE
You can upgrade to 3.52 M33 straight from your OE version.
Format your MS so you can start fresh when installing the M33 CFW (You might wanna backup your gamedata folder) then Download the 3.52 M33 CFW linked above. Extract the file.
Download both the 1.50 and 3.52 firmware. You need to re-name the 3.52 firmware to 352.PBP the 1.50 firmware to 150.PBP. Then add them to the M33CREATOR folder.
Now copy the M33CREATOR folder to the PSP MS directory of ms0:/PSP/GAME folder.
Now go to Game Menu Memory Stick and run the M33CREATOR.
After you run the M33CREATOR it should reboot back to the XMB. It should have created a 3.52 M33 update which you need to select in the Game Menu Memory Stick.
It will flash the files to the PSP and you should be at 3.52 M33 firmware. If it is then format your MS.
Now extract the 3.52 M33-4 update.
Drag the PSP folder inside that update folder into the root of the MS overwriting the files when it asks you to. Now go to Game Menu Memory Stick and run the m33-4 update. This will only take a few seconds.
After the update is finished check and make sure it says 3.52 M33-4 for firmware. If it does say 3.52 m33-4 then format the MS 1 more time.
You are now updated to 3.52 M33-4.
You don't need to worry about the seplugin folder in the 3.52 M33-4 update if your not going to play PSX games. If you are then let me know and I will explain what that plugin is all about.

I recommend going to 3.52 M33-4. There is nothing wrong with the updated firmware. Most 3.40 OE-A users claim that OE CFW is better and claim M33 has bugs but that is mostly due to operators error.
I doubt tmbm has even tried 3.52 M33-4.

3.40 oe-a and 3.52 m33-4 are practically the same. team m33 practically expanded dA firmware. the vsh menu, higher firmware, no-umd drivers and umd ripper are just add-ons.

both have a recovery menu where you can go back to 1.5, if needed. you can get the recovery folder from other members.
but you should update. the transformers game might need a higher firmware to run. and all new games require firmware higher than 3.03. 3.52 m33-4 has virtually no bugs.

Both OE or M33 version have recovery to 1.50. They actually downgrade the same way with a recovery folder.
If you ever went to downgrade to 1.50 all you have to do is download this RECOVERY file and extract it. Then drag the RECOVERY folder into the /PSP/GAME folder and then boot into recovery mode and choose RUN PROGRAM AT/PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP and it will downgrade back to 1.50.
I would recommend using the RECOVERY folder and downgrade from your 3.03 OE version to 1.50 then up to 3.52 M33-4. Just follow my directions above to recover back to 1.50 and even further above to install the 3.52 M33 then 3.52 M33-4 update.
3.52 M33-4 will play all PSP games and with the popsloader plugin most PSX games.

there's no problem doing a direct update. i've done it when i was on 3.40 oe-a. but it's always best to start fresh.

There have been some (Including me) that have updated from OE to M33 with no problems but there have been some that have had issues going from OE to M33. Thats why I suggested just going to 1.50 first then go up to 3.52 M33.
It doesn't take long to recover to 1.50 and it will save time and headache if you end up being 1 of those that have issues upgrading from an OE version to M33 version.
If you download to 1.50 then use the xploitpatcher and xploitpatcher% after first before running the M33CREATOR.

I know how you said you have the cso in root of the PSP ms in the ISO folder, but is it in the very begging and not in the PSP folder?

the root of the memory stick is where you see the psp/music/photo folders. if you don't have an ISO folder, create one. it must be in all caps

The problem is the 3.03 OE firmware. I am almost positive that Transformers needs a firmware 3.11 or higher. So 3.03 OE version will not meet the firmware requirements.
