Title pretty much says it all. Just got my HDXtreme discs yesterday and set everything up. When I put in the DVD disc for HDXtreme it just sits at the normal PS2 menu screen and doesnt boot into the HD Advance Interface.

When I put in the CD HDXtreme Disc it boots into that normally like it should and everything is fine. Do you think I have a bad disc? Or could it be an issue with my PS2 itself? Did I overlook something? Also, is it perfectly fine to just use the CD version or is it generally recommended to use the DVD version?

Also, I did notice that when I boot with either disc, the drive makes some abnormal noises when trying to access the discs. Pretty sure its the same type of noises that it would make if I tried to put in a non official disc or a disc it cant read. This happens with both the CD and DVD version. Is that normal with the HD Advance discs?

Any answers are much appreciated.
