Hi Guys,

I am a bit of a noob in terms of all this codecs and stuff.

Basically I want my GOM player to handle all kinds of files, including mov files.

Previously I don't know how I did it, but I made 480p mov files from quicktime site to work well with GOM Player on my computer. And they weren't choppy.

However now I am stuck again. I have the coreavc codec file - (CoreAVCDecoder.ax). But I don't know how exactly to use it.

I am doing a clean windowsXP install on my machine right now and haven't got anything (gom, quicktime alternative) installed yet.

Can someone give me a step by step guide on how I could make .mov files running smoothly with GOM Player?

Thanks.
