Can not delete shortcut on vista help :(

hi there i have a problem.. i installed a game and made a shortcut on the dektop..however i uninstald the game and the shortcut is stil on the desktop and can not be deleted/renamed/movd...this is a pain, my friend also has the same problem..the error message pops up something like location is no longer in /documents/desktop etc.... does someone know a easy way to get rid of this folder please? :(

this might be a little too difficult but try booting from a linux live disc or something and delete it from the desktop folder
