1st of all, I've read the "Everything you want to know about your PSP" topic :)
But still, I have some doubts I want to clarify :)
See, I have a fw 3.50 PSP :)
I'm getting my Lumines around this week and so, I'm gonna downgrade it and upgrade my PSP to cfw 3.51 m33 - 7 :)
No sweat I know how to do it :)

Well, the thing is that I heard that for playing ISOs in this cfw, there is no need to insert the UMD :)

But well, where should I put the ISOs ?? :)
Do I need a separate software like UMDemulator or fastloader or something ??? o_O
Even if I use UMD emulator, will it be necessary to insert a UMD to play an ISO ??? o_O
Also, I want to play psx games on my PSP too :)
How to do that ??? o_O

Thanx in advance :)

i suggest to upgrade to 3.52 m33-4. far better no-umd compatability.

the ISOs go into the ISO folder in the root of the memory stick.

as for playing them, you don't need anything else; they just play straight from the xmb. just go to game/memory stick, and the iso will show up as a normal game.

to play ps1 games, you have to recreate the ISO into psp format. there's a guide somewhere on this site.

ps2: v7 scph-39001 - independence exploit - hdloader 0.8c - maxtor 300gb hdd
(+[__]%) psp slim ta-085v1: 6.60 PRO B10
wii (powered by bootmii/priiloader): 4.1u - d2x v10beta53-alt (base 56) - configurable usb loader v70r51/devolution r188 - wd scorpio black 7200rpm 320gig w/ ams venus ds2 enclosure

got a whole lot more to list . . .

Do I have to place them in the ISO folder too ??? :D

it'll play cso files, too. if it lags a little, it's due to the compression. cso is a compressed iso file. and yes, they go into the iso folder, too.

I would definetely go with 3.52m33-4 if I were you. Most bugs are gone. I wouldn't compress your csos at anything else than 9. The more they're compressed, the more they lag. Happy gaming.
