ok i got a psp off ebay with 3.40 OE-A.
because i didn't think i could do all that downgrading myself.lol
so now how do i start playing psp iso off of it?
i haven't got a card yet because i'm broke,but plan to get one soon a 2GB or a 4GB one.
but when i do what all is needed to and how to use it:P
i tryed to read thro them guides but everything i was reading sounded like you can mess up your psp eazy:(

is it really that hard to just load up a iso from your psp?
maybe i just read to much to soon and i am tired:P

but do you need a emu to run the iso
sorry to bug you nice ppl i'm just scared to death i'll mess my psp up or brick it.lol
or it'll upgrade some how without me meaning to then it'll be a useless pecie of crap and won't play iso:(
i keep reading ppl do it all the time so i'm almost scare to mess with it.lol

plus if i play any umd game will it upgrade on its own?
or will it ask me first before it trys that, because if it does it on its own i'll stick to iso only.lol
thanks again and i did try to read the guide they just seemed complex to me maybe i was reading the wrong thing who know:(
if someone could just put it out in a eazy step by step that be nice:)
sorry again but maybe someone can put my fears to rest:)
thanks again!!

No it is not hard to play a ISO/CSO game (CSO is just a compressed ISO of the game). When you get your MS put it in the PSP and go to systems settings and format the MS. This will create the folders that you will need to place ISO/CSO, PSX, Emulators and HOMEBREW in.

The ms0:/ISO folder is where you place the PSP ISO/CSO games in. Then all you do is go to the game menu memory stick and run the game.

PSX games (they need to be converted to play on PSP) will go into the ms0:/PSP/GAME folder. Run them under the Game menu memory Stick also.

Homebrew and Emulators that require 1.50 kernel to run go into ms0:/PSP/GAME150 folder

Homebrew and Emulators that require 3.40 kernel goes into ms0:/PSP/GAME340 folder.

The update usually shows in the Game Menu so don't update using Official Firmware. You might want to go into your System Settings then to UMD and turn off the Auto-Start feature.

if you come across a game that says you need a higher firmware to run the game then you will need to install 3.52 M33-4 custom firmware.

Some hombrew requires 1.50 kernel to run and some require a higher kernel then 1.50. Just place the homebrew/emulators in the respective GAME150/GAME340 folder.

If you have a card reader that reads pro duo MS then yes you can use your PC card reader.

i wanted to edit this in but didn't see the edit button:P

i heard 3.52 M33-4 custom firmware has alot of bugs.
at least thats what the guy said that sold me the psp.
he said thats why he only puts 3.40 OE-A on it.
because anything after that would freze up or something, is this true?
thanks again:)
can't wait to get the money for my MS;)
next mouth is dracula x the god of war the month after that.lol

3.52 M33-4 does not have bugs. It is just as good as 3.40 OE-A plus has extra options then 3.40 OE-A has.
