I want to mod my slim psp. It currently is fw 3.60. I dont know anyone with a cfw fat psp to make pandora's battery and the magic memory stick. there is an ebay sale for "Pandora's Battery & Magic Memory Stick for your PSP SLIM includes M33 3.60 Custom firmware autoinstall".

is this a good investment?
is it too early to make a purchase, will the cfw be outdated shortly and ill be stuck with a turkey?

it will be used mostly for emu;ators

All pandora's battery's are compatible with the PSP slim so dont just bid on one if you do end up buying one from ebay.

Pandora's battery downgrades the PSP to 1.5, from there you can upgrade to CFW and then it is simple changing between cfw's so you wont get stuck.

Whereabouts are you from?

I have a pandora batt+ms if you wanted to use it if local

I have no idea where that is but i am guessing it isn't in the UK lol.

I have checked out ebay and all pandora batteries being sold on there at the moment seem to be real so all should work with your PSP and could more than likely be sold on at the same price looking at the price thoses bastads are selling free software.
