umd reading prob.

i switched the backplate of my psp and rebuilt it and now it has a hard time reading umd's. Someone once told me i had to remove a rubber piece/pieces in order for the alignment to get fixed. Anyone know anything of this? Front and back are clear.
O0o Oh and if anyone knows what i am talking about, would you know about a website, or video to show me what exact part it is in the backplate. Im not trying to rebuild the whole thing again. I hope i don't have to.

be a little more specific on what you did... sorry i cannot help you but someone else might...u just might also want to add a little more info...did you forget anything...etc.

waddup marlino ;]. Well the lens goes up and down with a red light and the black disc spins all when you push the button down on the drive. I was told that you have to cut off a clear piece to let your gears spin freely. Orrr, move wire speakers away. They should have said that in the youtube tut. Dayng. Good thing i only have to remove down until the LCD brace.
