how can i play CSO games on my psp version 3.03

my friend just bought a psp and he wants to play CSO AND ISO games on it his software version is 3.03 can someone tell what to do

there are a few routes to go with:
- downgrade to 1.5 with an unpatched gta: liberty city stories
- upgrade to 3.50, and then downgrade to 1.5 with an unpatched lumines
- use pandora's battery/magic memory stick

and no, there is no way to play iso/cso on official firmware.

where can i go to upgrade to 3.50, and then downgrade to 1.5 with an unpatched lumines also if i do this then will ibe able to use ISO AND CSO files

you can go to dl.qj.net for the 3.50 update. after you downgrade to 1.5, you should update to a custom firmware; i recommend 3.52 m33-4. if you need help on updating to 3.52 m33-4, i'll post a miniguide created by another aD member.

The reason why you can't play many games it that because your firmware is OUTDATED!! Update to a newer custom firmware and you will be able to play more games. Newer games being released demand a higher firmware (it's sony's way of making it harder to hack your PSP), but this can be worked around by simply upgrading to a higher CFW!

I recommend upgrading to 3.52 M33-4 or 3.71 M33-2 with 1.5 kernel Addon. Any other CFW is simply too old.
