SD Gecko help?

yeah so, I didn't know this until now, but I just read on the SD Gecko website that it doesn't work as a normal memory card. So what do I need to use it? Are there things on the wiikey config disk that will let me move files from the SD Gecko to a normal GC memory card? I have the 1.2 config and 3.0u wii I think. The config disk doesn't work anymore. I think I saw that the 3.0 is the problem?

bleh....:/ How do I use the SD Gecko? The wii doesn't even recognize it and the wiikey disk no longer works.
