My ps2 can't read my backups using swap magic

My ps2 can't read some of my backups, but it does on some others. I'm using swap magic 3.6 with a flip top cover and burned my games with DVD Decrypter at 2x. I've tried using Maxell, Memorex, and Imation DVD's, but none of them seem to work. Some games work for about 2 or 3 days and then my Ps2 doesn't read them anymore. I'm getting frustrated and I need your help. Please!!!

maybe you have to clean the lense this is often the issue.
you wrote that some games work(that`s the prove that the games burned correctly)and on the next day`s don`t boot
i had nearly the same problem(ps1 games won`t boot)and after lense cleaning all work`s like from the first day.

Cleaned the lens helps a lot. I have a flitop case and us SM 3.8, etc, and had a problem of taking 3-5 tries for any game, SM disc, etc, to play. Opened the system up and cleaned the dust off of everything, wiped the lens, everything has booted perfect for the past 5-6 months. A good cleaning should do the trick, some burnt media is harsh on the lens and if it is not clean will not properly load.
