You shouldn't be turning on the PSP and you shouldn't be placing the Magic memory Stick in before the Pandora Battery.

Do the below steps.

Make sure the PSP is off.

When it is off place the JigKick in first. The power led should come on.

Then insert the Magic memory Stick. The WiFi and Memory Stick leds should flash and the menu should come up.

If the menu doesn't come up hit the brightness button and see if it will come up.

Unplug the charger if you're using one, turn the PSP off, put in the magic mem stick, then the battery, it should autostart, but not always, if it doesn't, flick the switch.

It should come up with the menu, if not, maybe the pandora battery hasn't been made properly, or the PSP is maybe more than just bricked...

EDIT: larrylje beat me by just a bit there :(

Really? Never tried it that way round, well i've had no trouble with putting the mem stick in first.

All the guides I have read said to put in the Pandora battery first then the MS.

But if you did it with no issue the other way around then he should have no problem doing it.

But still he shouldn't have the AC Adapor pluged into it and have the PSP on.

Is there not any way in doing a dignostic check on the psp itself. I got the thing to boot up but went really slow. so something must be wrong IE more then bricked.
