Hi all! Ive now got a replacement PSP, the UMD on my other packed up and I was on 3.40 OE-A!! Arghhh!

Anyway, I now have a replacement PSP direct from Sony. It has 2.71 firmware installed and there are no markings to indicate what type of motherboard on it. The model is a 1003.

Your help would be much appreciated to downgrade to 1.5 then upgrade to custom firmware.

Well you must download the 2.71 downgrader. This downgrader is special because it does all the work for you. Once you're on 1.50, you can upgrade to the latest CFW, 3.52 M33-4 by M33 or the BEST CFW, 3.40 OE-A by Dark_AleX.
