Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could help me out.

I had my PS2 modded back in December 04 at one of the stores in the Pacific Mall in Toronto. My PS2 model is a SCHP-50001 Date code: 3c

I have been trying to play some old original PSX games, but they don't seem to work. I remember him mentioning to turn the modchip off. Which involved holding down a button and switching the main power switch on and off aat the back of the PS2 unit.

Can anyone recall what mod chips were popular around the time and tell me how to properly Turn off that style of mod chip?
