I'd forget Cucusoft and go with a converter/burner such as DVD Flick or SUPER, which I both contain the needed codecs. If you still have problems converting these files then it might be wise to install a codec pack such as K-Lite.

I suggest not to install a codec pack like k-lite, which installs more codecs than you actually need, so install only those which you need.

PART I:
consult this for the help with codec installation part:

PART II:
to convert your files look up for any suitable video convertor, just google it up, u'll get a plethora of them :)

Yep, you're right, the above suggestion RE codecs was much better than K-Lite, but I didn't have any links handy, thanks ;-)

ok... i have this problem.can anyone solve it?

I have installed XviD from Nimo codec pack...Nick's(i think thats the name) XviD and not Koepi's XviD thats the more popular one.
When I work with Virtual Dubb for making movies.. the options I chose is Single Pass,Frame Rate 30,Target Bitrate 4000.
But the quality of the movie thus created is different from that encoded with Koepi's XviD, I think with a quality reduction.

Any Explanation?
