i am using vista, new computer, recently got my wiikey installed and purchased the lg GDR-8164b while i was at it, ive downloaded rawdump v.2.0 however it is not detecting the LG drive, only my pioneer drive is detected in the 'select drive'
my new computer uses a mother board that uses sata- 1,2,3,4 i think its liek the master slave n stuff - but the cables are different, the mother board only has one hdd port for me to connect the LG drive which i did- it works fine with cd/dvd's
- when i go into the motherboard setup thing- it says sata 1(my harddisk number) sata 2 (my second hardisk name) sata 3 (my pioneer dvd burner) sata 4 (none, or if i try to set it up it says unable to detect) can any one help me with this complicated situation i am in?
did you drive come with a cd, although Im sure vista comes with all the proper drivers, try going to the LG website see if you can download drivers, or even look at the package insert and call their tech support, sorry I really dont know how to help you, just thought Id throw some suggestions out to ya,
