Will ps2 backup games burned to a DVD-RW play on my PS2?
Hi, i have a V.9 PS2 with Swap Magic v.3.3
i am currently trying to back up rubgy 2008 using DVD Decrypter. I burned it onto a DVD-RW and was wondering if my ps2 would play DVD-RW or will it harm the lazer?

No they won't play on your PS2. Use DVD-R preferably or DVD+R. Some have issues with the DVD+R, but my slim PS2 plays them fine. You just have to select DVD-ROM booktyping when burning DVD+R

DVD-RW sometimes work but are not recommended.
For fat PS2s use DVD-R, for slims use DVD+R. This is not essential, it just usually works better that way, but don't worry bout it if your burner can only burn - or +, it's just an extra precaution some people take.

I haven't but you would then have to read the specs on the box to see if it rates good or not.
