is there any possible way to take halo 3, a XBOX game, and get it to work on a ps2?

If your PS2 is modded then there may be an emulator you could use, but I doubt it would work very well and allow you to enjoy the game to the full..

Buy a 360 core unit used should only cost around 190usd.trust me you will glad you did there is some cool games coming out for both console.why limit yourself?
