I have a evox modded xbox.
I know how to ftp using IE. (internet explorer)
I have the game downloaded on my xbox hard drive using the dvd to xbox software.
When I ftp I can see the folder for the game and i can access it.
how do I get the xbox game on to a disc?
The original xbox game is on my original modded xbox's hard drive and i want to play it on my non-modded 360.

what type of disc do I use?
I have a memorex dvd+r 4.7gb, will that work?

here is the picture of the disc case cover:

Download IMGBurn and put it in build mode. Use this guide to build an ISO file from your files, it should work irrespective on file type..

If you already have an ISO, burn it to your disc (yes, they're not great but frankly, they'll do) using IMGBurn in Write mode.

hi bungag19

Please don't follow that load of rubish from Phlax above.

It will never in a million years work as an xbox disk isn't a normal iso.
Firstly I would be tempted to use a propper ftp program like ws_ftp-pro or cuteFTP. It's just a matter of speed.. IE will take forever and ever and then some.

Then (and this is important... a normal iso maker like linked to above is a waste of time) You MUST use an XISO making program like clonexb. I would use that as it's the easiest for a first timer to get to grips with. When you get the method you can move on to more complicated tools like Qwix, though in over 1000 game backups I only needed it twice. CloneXB works fine and is easy. http://www.xbox-scene.com/tools/tools.ph...uAkpyVyyGekKXKV

There are lots of more complicated tools there, but clonexb will do everything for you in almost a one click mode. Make your XISO and then just use nero or alcohol or imgburn to burn it. Not too fast now.. 4x seems optimal for xbox dvd-rom drives.
I can't say for sure if the memosux+r disks will work with your xbox... It depends on the dvd drive. My samsung drives don't read +r but do read +rw.. ???????? :-s

Happy burning, and saving.

Phlax... I'm not being funny, but if you don't know how to do something you shouldn't lead others down the wrong path. People have been posting rubbish like that over xbox sites for years. They normally get much more than a polite ticking off.. Please try reading some of the millions of xbox backup guides posted here... like this one.. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/141037

varnull, as much as I now know I'm wrong now, the console boards are still a mess and if people learnt to read then threads like this and seemingly irrelevant posting by my type [passing by on the way from the dvd forums to the Windoze forums] would be null.

bmgag19, listen to varnull, that information is correct.

Edit: You'll wanna c&p this to the duplicate thread he made in the CORRECT forum, varnull.

That's cool Phlax.. Now you know a lot more about the xiso and backups.

So anyway.. the subject in hand. Playing an xbox1 backup on an unmodded 360... sorry.. it can't be done so you may as well forget it before you waste lots of time and disks trying ;-)
