I know there's a potential of bricking / semi-bricking your console on lower firmware versions, but does anybody know if it works with 3.0 without any issues?

Yeps, I've got that link - very useful, however in this instance it doesn't really say anything about what happens with PAL > NTSC-J with firmware 3.0J.

Hi, I am desperatly trying to unbrick my Wii and am looking for a game which updates to v3.0J, do you know which Jap game installed this update on yours?
If I can get it updated to v3.0J I will gladly try it for you :)
