Since my 360 is banned and halo 3 is around teh corner. Is still there a way to play halo 3 online without having to buy a new console.

the reason you didn't get any help is probably because we don't know how to help you. as of now i don't think there is a way to play online with ban machine yet, if there is it's probably be stickie already.

correct. If you were banned then the only way to play online is to buy another 360, as it was the console that was banned and not your Xbox Live account. So if you want to play Halo 3 that bad (not sure why anyone would though) then start saving your money for a new 360.

Y are they A-holes? Cos ur banned?
You should have known that going on live with a modded xbox u were running the risk of being banned, so go and buy another 360, cos its pretty obvious u have no mates. How about that creepy guy up the road that touches you in your special place? Why dont u pay him a visit, maybe he has halo

yeah, it is the usual appreciation shown for some noob getting his question answered. And i highly doubt that you found a way to get back on live with a banned console, unless of course you are somehow smarter than the whole Xbox 360 community. Which is another thing i highly doubt.
Of course there are free systems Like Xlink Kai or XBconnect but everyone already knows about those and the problems that the 360 has using them.
