I had been using the no-mod chip method to switch to my backed up custom guitar hero games. for those of you who dont know what that is, you essentially start up GH2 original, then a couple seconds after the PLAYSTATION2 logo dissapears you use a swap tool to open the tray and pop in the fake, lock it up, and it loads it.

anyhow my problem is. i was playing my backup, and then the game froze. so i turned off the ps2, reset it, and it will not play any DVD's now, not even originals, or different games entirely.

If you have any idea why this is please let me know what i can do to fix/replace etc.

i just want to say, ive tried cleaning the laser lense, adjusting the voltage to the best of my ability.... and adjusting the white gear.

maybe i did it incorrectly or the laser is busted?
