I have a video I need to capture from my Vid cam to my laptop. My sound chip on my laptop has gone bad, its on the mother so I don't want to replace the motherboard. The problem, when I try to start Premire or movie maker they both quit saying they need a sound device to work!!! I just need to get the video on my laptop to burn it to DVD, is there a different software that I can use to capture the vid??
