Hi all does anyone have any insight as to when the BenQ ixtreme firmware will be here.

even an eta or estamated guess would do

Its just am thinking of spoofing a drive but at the same time just waiting another day 2 see if its been released yet.

there is no point because you will need the dvd drive key from the benq drive to swap with the replacement.

It is possible to dump the firmware of a benq drive by cutting one of the tracks and intalling a switch or 2 wires, the drive key can then be extracted with maximus toolbox 4.0

You still need to cut the trace to dump the firmware to enable you to extract the drive key so you can then inject this into the hacked firmware thats is nearly ready, there is no simple way to dump and flash the firmware as with the hitachi upto V78 and the samsungs
