Hello. I'm kind of in the same situation. I want to be able to play games online. I have the older (fat) PS2 with network adapter installed. I also have internet connection. I know how to connect to the internet with my PS2, but want to connect wirelessly. I know of the wireless game adapter, but is avoiding that route for the moment. The reasons why are, Game Adapter is pretty expensive and I have 2 wireless router. One of the wireless router (Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G) is connected to my computer, in my room, and the other is an older wireless access point (Linksys BEFW11S4 Version 2) that is not being use. My room is upstairs and I usually play my PS2 downstairs. So, my question is, is it possible to use the Access Point to connect PS2 to the net wirelessly? If so, how do I go about configuring routers and setting the whole thing up? My primary router is determined to never be moved or wired to anything else, other then my computer and the cable modem . The AP is laying around and that's the router I want to put back into use. What do I need to know to make a successful connection? If it's possible. I heard it using a AP to connect is possible, but never really had any straight answer. Please let me know. Thanks in advance and any kind of info is helpful.
