I have a nokia dbox2 and need to put an image on it as the sportstar seems to play up I need to put commando on it . but realise that I havent got a proper connector from the box to my laptop ( my laptop dosnt have a 9 pin connector)I only have a 15pin monitor & 25 pin printer ports. can I use a USB to connect to the box and put an image on it

You dont need them cables to flash your d box mate
You need a RJ45 Ethernet Network Cable
Connected to a Ethernet port
Do you have one of these
If not you can use a usb Adapter and do it that way

Cheers Big Dunc I have a RJ45 gonna connect them together and see what happends, aint done it b4 but am gonna mess it up somewhere along the line lol will let you know what happends

You need a crossover network cable for a direct connection between pc and box.
A 1:1 wired patch cable is not working.
