Today i was just listening to music on my PSP and it turned itself off.
I turned it back on and played some more tunes.
It turned off again.
left it for a while on charge with a different battery and tried again and the problem still occurs, it basically switches itself off anywhen between 2 seconds to 10 mins but it's guaranteed to happen.
I tries using Pandora's battery and downgraded to 1.50, problem still occured, back up to 3.40OE, problem still occured so it's definately not a firmware issue.
Anyone have any ideas?
Ive tried changing:
Firmware
Formatting Flash0
Pandora's Battery
Different Battery
AC Adaptor

If you've already tried using different batteries and flashing to 1.50, 3.40-OE, and 3.52 M33-4, then your only left with one possibility. A short on the motherboard. The PSP isn't exactly the most secure device. If you spill liquid in it, drop it from a height of 6 feet or greater, hell even if you left your PSP in the bathroom (I really don't want to know why you would) and someone took a hot shower, the moisture alone could short it.
When you have a clean 3.52 M33-4 install, and you remove the battery and run it off the AC Adapter alone, does it still do that? If it does, you're looking at a shorted mobo.
