Let me give the whole story, so everything would be cleared, i recieved a bricked psp and wanted to unbrick it using the pandora battery and memstick, anyways, during the unbricking, after the formating, and after writing the files, when it was trying to do the registry thing, which i dont recall what it was exactly, it gave an error, then the psp shut down, and when i turn it on, it starts normally and give the settings corrupted error, so i press O to reset the settings, but it kept doing so over and over.. so i posted a thread and asked for help her, and i was adviced to get a nand from a working 1.5 PSP and restore it to that PSP, and actually that worked fine and i updated it to 3.52 M33-4, and was working fine for few weeks, then i got it back, the xmb was showing fine, but when i try to acces the memstick or the settings, it just nothing happens, the loading sign appears and goes, but nothing happens, cant enter anything, so i tried re-installing the M33, and then working fine, and after few days, i tried running a UMD, but it kept giving me "the disc could not be read", and the UMD wont show in the game in the xmb, and i tried to miss around in the settings, and kept getting an error saying "internel erorr.." and then it freezes, i tried using the pandora again, and when i installed the m33 again, in the langauge selection it gave me the internal error again and forze, so i hard reset it and then it started fine except for running the UMD, same error, i trying couple of times re-installing using pandora or direct reinstall, same results, except the internel error, i noticed its randomly, sometimes when entering the settings and other times when loading the umd, so i dont know whats the issue but i need to run a UMD.. Any suggestions ?

Thanks in advance

PS:
The Panodora battery, magic memstick, 3.52 M33-4, the same UMD, all have been tested with other PSPs and all are working fine..

Although i dont think that would resolve the issue, cause i get the same error wether im on 1.5 FW, or 3.52 CFW or any FW, but i tried anyway to update to ver 3.71 M33, and got this error:

"The system cannot be updated.
The update data is not applicable for this system.
(CTA80000025)"

First off, you must be back on 3.52 M33 to go to 3.71 M33 (which you may have done, just saying). Otherwise, you cannot update past 3.30.

It may be the laser that is the problem. I had clicky noises at one point myself, and moving to a cooler environment for a small period of time helped.

But, your problem may be dust on the laser, so maybe stick a lint free cloth down the UMD slot and GENTLY clean the laser, which I have also done.
