I just got my psp today and bought some games as well, but i got carried away and forgot to get the usb cable. But my question is how do I get music, videos etc onto the psp, that is do I really need to buy the PSP Media Manager Software, or is there an alternative.

just connect your usb from PSP to PC then your PC will automatically install the driver for the PSP.. then select your songs from your PC then paste it in this folder ms0:/MUSIC
ms0:= it means the root of your memory stick
