I have my xbox mod chipped....i want to know exactly how I can back up my games and play the copied version of them on my Xbox. Once the Xbox is modded can I simply use my DVD burner to copy my games and then play them? or do i need to do other things. I have search all over the place and I can't find a clear answer to my questions.
1) Once my Xbox is modded can i burn games with my DVD burner and play them?
2) If so, What is the best program that I can use to make a back up of my Game disks.

You will need to set up and FTP connection with your PC and Xbox.
Load the game in the XBox and transer the files from the XBox DVD drive to your PC.
Use Craxtion to make an ISO image of the game files and then burn this image to DVD.

You can't just make a disc to disc copy of your XBox games.

O.K. well that sounds way too difficult. So anyway I guess I'll just leave it as is. So what about all this i hear about downloading games from somewhere. If i downloaded them and burnt them to a disk...would they work on my MODDED XBOX? or do I still need other stuff?

Yes it would work, but make sure that you download them from a reliable source (e.g. IRC, but NEVER use Kazaa for XboX games.)

Separate from my last post; cant you just put the Xbox game in the computers DVD drive and use a program to extract the files and make a ISO, then burn that to a DVD?

You don't need an alt dash to play back up disc's.
and
You PC can't read Xbox game disc's.
