Everytime i try to backup on DVDShrink, the program shuts down. I've been researching other forums and have tried everything that has been said to try. Including uninstalling and reinstalling, disk clean-up and defrag. Nothing seems to work. Anyone have any suggestions as to my next course of action?

This is an AnyDVD log of the Region 1 DVD. There doesn't seem to be any heavy protection on this disc, but DVD Shrink on it's own may not be able to handle the invalid VOBUs. If I were you, I would try ripping the disc to the hard drive first by using DVDFab Decrypter, then open the files with DVD Shrink. Or you can use DVD Shrink while running AnyDVD in the background.
i'd like to rip it to my HD but i don't have dvdfab decrypter and it doesn't seem to be available.
i also just tried running the anydvd in the background and i got the same result from dvdshrink. It just shut down after i tried backup
