Hello all,

I am a first timer here, I hope someone can assist with my prob.

I have just purchased my first new beuwt PC, which I had intended to crank up for DV editing and burning to DVD.

I have encountered some problems along the way though. As I purchased a home office / business PC, there was no hardware to connect to my DV cam - result have tested and now ordered an IEEE1394 card (hasnt arrived yet) to get things going.

I have since made a short edit of some dirt bike riding, from MPEG clips, the edit is made on Win Movie Maker, and I have found my Business version of Vista does not have Win DVD Maker! DOH!!

I would like to know if anyone can suggest a preferably freeware program that will interface with Win Movie Maker and convert the WMM or AVI viles to DVD and burn on my burner?

I dont know how relevant it is, but I opperate a DELL Optiplex 740, with 250GB HDD and 4GB Ram, with AMD Dualcore 64 processor, it has a standard combo burner drive, I have been able to burn the AVI format onto CD, but of course this will only playback on my computer.

any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Cheers!
