I would appreciate any help thats available, Bought black eurovox max in july on ebay, worked ok until this week, while surfing through channs is stopped a message appeared " there is a problem with the unit contact your supplier" and of course the supplier wont even respond to my emails.
Has anyone had the same problem? if so any suggestions how to solve the problem? I have tried reloading the software from CD but it cant find the receiver, I have used windows 95,98 and vista and the same problem occurs with them all.

I a complete novice to all this, I have tried to load the software using cd and null cable, i keep getting message "waiting for responce from your receiver"
Can you explain in "Just For Dummies" terms
You need to have it jtagged meaning you need to open you box and attach a jtag to your box to flash the chip (tsop) again. It will not accept any firmware until you do this.

I have followed the link and ordered the jtag cable, hopefully this will sort my problem.
