I have a question, I have no problem copying my movies but what I noticed is I switched DVD.rs to Memorex which I purchased at BJs. I am have after the disk loads on the dvd player folders show up I hit the play button on the remote go to folder one and the movie now plays it never did that before could it be the new disks that I bought, I don't have any old ones to try so I may have to go to office depot and buy a pack to try to figure out this problem. The movies playl fine other that I have an additional step. I use power2go to burn the movies and I have burn't several with the same program and did not have a problem. Maybe someone can help with this all the settings are the same on the burning mode.
Thanks again you guys and gals are great.

From what you describe, it sounds as though you burned a data disk and not a DVD compliant video disk. Was this a download or a commercial disk you backed up? By the way, Memorex disks for the most part suck since they are made by lower cost lower quality manufacturers for Memorex. Best to stick with Verbatim.

And, what is your specific problem with DVDShrink, since this is the DVDShrink forum?

This has a lot to do with DVD shrink, I am having a problem and have been working on it all day, when I shrink a movie and then burn it, I put it in the dvd player, the movie goes into the load mode and then instead of going right into the movie it shows me tracks once I click onto track one then the movie plays but everytime a track is done it stops for about one second and then plays track two ect, it never did this before and that is my problem it is all with dvd shrink, I even replaced the dvd's with different make. What is my problem

The reason I asked is that you said you burned your discs with power2go. No where in you post did you mention using DVDShrink. Good luck on resolving your problem.

Do you have any idea what the problem may be, I think I may have tracked it down to the audio, where in the folders the discs that don't work propertly there are no audio folders. What do you think. Somethink happened in the last two weeks when I find the problem I will be sure to write it down.

It is very odd that you would be accessing folders. There should be a DVD menu perhaps. Have you tried the disk in another player. Maybe your player is messed up. DVD Shrink creates DVD compliant files so there shouldn't be any folders to view with the player unless the player is messed up or in a different mode.

Are you outputing a folder of DVD files to burn with Power2Go or are you outputting from Shrink an ISO image file and burning that with Power2Go? If it's the former, your are likely burning the folder as data and not as a video DVD. Your player sees a nonDVD compliant structure and instead is just playing mpeg files from the VIDEO_TS folder on the disk.

i would try a clean reinstall of dvd shrink and try a different burning tool like nero or dvd decrypter and see what happens

Hi Everyone
I figured out the problem, for some freek reason the box on the screen on DVD shrink got unchecked it is the one that says create video ts and audio ts sub folders make sure that is checked or you will get dvd's getting shrink with tracks only, the volume is still there but you have to click on the track to get the movie started. Our weather here in Florida has been freeky with power outages and maybe something got lost along the way. Thank you for all your help I really enjoy speaking with everyone.
