I'm backing up all of my games, I'm pretty paranoid about scratching them, I usually end up breaking my stuff..

I was looking at the All360 Mod Chip, but everyone says it requires 31 soldering points.. But I also saw a connectivity kit for it, I remember it saying something about making it non-solder-izeable.

Also, what does it mean to 'flash' your system? I'm pretty new to this whole mod thing.

Anyway, if you could post any recommended Chips, I'd really appreciate it.

the meaning of flashing your system is basically re programming the dvd drive to tell your xbox the games are originals. That way it's free and easy to do. The hard parts getting that xbox open. this website will help a little. http://www.360mods.net/News/catid=1.html
any more questions just ask.

Alright, thanks.

Just another thing I'm curious about though.. What'd the difference between flashing your system, and modding it with a chip?

Moding with a chip changes what the drive says and flashing basically tells the drive what to say. Also if you use a chip theres a high chance unless you know what your doing that your xbox will be permantly banned from live.

also, some mod chips temporarily change the setting of the BIOS in your xbox to bypass certain security features.

Knowledge is power, ignorance is weakness.
