Hi guys. Just got swap magic 3.6 today with the slim tools, but I can't seem to read any sort of disk, including original PS2 games, off swap magic. Every time I try to boot a game off SM it tells me "not a vallid PS2 disk." I have read several others threads from various forums and generally it's from people with flip tops--and the general consensus is that they were installed wrong. I don't have a flip top, I have the slim tool, and I'm pretty sure everything is installed the way it should be. I say that because I can boot and play original PS2 games (without SM) with the top wide open. With SM though, after it has loaded and I have swapped any disk, it doesn't seem to be able to get spinning at full speed, looks and sounds like it's struggling, and I get "not a valid ps2 disk" message. Sorry if that was repetitive--any ideas?

Ok, I know the solution to this problem, and yes it was my my own faulty installation of the slim tool. More specifically slim tool "A" was not properly set. I'm not using the end of a q-tip instead of the standard tool, and it works without a hitch. I hope this helps other people who run into "not a valid ps2 disk."
