I know this has been discussed a gazillion times before..But my discs do not seem to work.
I searched through the forums. A small number of people have this problem, yet no one has provided a valid reason.
I have a US Wii with firmware 3.0U. It came pre-modded with Wiikey, which later i updated to the unofficial 1.9b firmware. So far games have been working fine, but they are only those which I backups which are provided from China (with proper artwork, factory pressed,etc).

I tried my first backup - MySims. Burnt it using TDK DVD-R 1-8x, popped it into the Wii. It worked fine, except for an annoying buzzing sound coming from the DVD Drive. Worried, i searched the forums and one suggested that I burnt the Wiikey Config Disc and set the drive speed to 3x. After that onwards, those "Chinese" backups still work, but my backups don't seem to work. I tried using Memorex 16X DVD-R, Verbatim DVD-R, and even my previous MySims backup doesn't work now. Other backups work fine. I tried 2 image burning programs - ImgBurn with the correct settings @ 2x and 4x, and Nero.
I have wasted over 15 DVDs trying to get a backup into my Wii. Can someone pls assist me on this?
