Swap magic My game is sticking X_X

My swap magic arrived, installed the magic keys with no problems. Works fine. I got about 2 hours into my imported game(Tales of the abyss), and It started sticking a bit. On the world map, Luke would stick every few steps, then move, then stick. I gave the ps2 a break, cleaned the game tried again. It worked 100%

Now its happening again! I'm at a specific scene, and after the scene, If i try to leave the area I'm in the loading screen appears,and wont go away! I left it for about 10 mins at the loading screen and still nothing! The thing is thee laser is staying at the bottom and not moving up or down like it should. I tried cleaning the game and giving my ps2 a break, no results. But this is the funny thing:

While it was loading, i took out the game, put in swap magic. Then after a few seconds I took out swap magic,replaced the ps2 game back in. then it loaded! But the screen was all glitchy and buggy. I saved my game, and was like YES! I'll just load my data and all will be OK. Loaded the data, and it doesn't load! Same as above, wont go away! The ps2 game has a few scratches, but it worked 100% till now!

Does anyone know some solution to this problem? Thank you!
