Copy DVD to DVD

I'm new to the whole dvd ripping process. Is there a relatively simple way to copy a dvd movie to my hard drive and then copy it to a blank dvd?

Also will it have the same functionality as a regular DVD Movie? BOnus material, scene jumping etc.

...blank DVD can only hold 4.7GB of data and regular DVD-Video disc contains 8-10GB of data, so obviously you can't fit all of the content from the original to the blank DVD. But normally the movie itself is less than 4.7GB, so you can copy that one to blank DVD. You need to rip the movie first to your HDD using SmartRipper or similiar tool and then burn it back to DVD using tools like Prassi.

What is prassi? is that a dvd authoring program? How fo I rip just the movie files?

Yeah, it is a DVD authoring tool, a commercial one.

And you rip the movie using SmartRipper, select the biggest section from the DVD IFO list and rip it and verify that it's the correct one by playing the ripped VOB file with PowerDVD.
