hi i tried connecting to live thru my modem but it couldnt get ip.then i tried with router,it got ip but no dns.any suggestions?

Hi mate not to sure if this helps if you have had your pc through the modem turn it off and reboot it with the 360 connected as it might be finding your pc ip.
