wen ever u want to update the firmware do u need you psp on chariging??? and then u oad the 3.71m33 program?

No, but its safer. 75% or above usually. I suggest sticking with 3.52m33-4, unless your wet over SONYS xmb's. DAX or anyone hasnt dropped out the 1.50 patch so a lot of the homebrew and others cant work that need the 1.50 kernel to operate. Go to 1.50 and just use the 3.52 m33 easy installer. Theres a lot of threads here about down/upgrading with direct links for your needs and wants.
