I have 3.70 on my psp right now and am wanting to upgrade to 3.71 m33.
i put the installer in the game folder and followed the instructions on the readme, but every time i launch the 3.71 m33 update it gives me an error with a bunch of different numbers.

What do i do to over come this error and install 3.71 m33?

try pandora's battery
then back to 1.50 > 3.52m>>>> 3.71 m-33
you dont need get a new bat or mem
You can use his own battery and mem stick again right
If you only have one battery and want to unbrick/downgrade your PSP, you can.

1) Convert your battery into a jigkick one using "Pandora's Battery Creator", but before you press X, press TRIANGLE to backup your battery's EEPROM to ms0:/eeprom.bin
2) Unbrick your PSP as normal
3) When you are done unbricking, take out the battery and the magic memory stick. Start up the PSP using the AC adaptor (do not try to use a USB charger, it will not start up)
4) Insert the magic memory stick and the magic battery
5) Run "Pandora's Battery Creator" again
6) Press L+R to restore the ms0:/eeprom.bin to your battery

NOTE: You can also restore a battery without having made a backup, by pressing SQUARE at step 6. This will generate a fake serial for your battery (0x12345678) which allows it to work normally.

I have a psp with 3.41 version but i want to upgrade to the 3.71 m33. do i need to have the official sony 3.71 first to upgrade to m33.can someone please answer me that.

Nooooooo!!!! PSP's downgrade to Upgrade as hard to believ as it may sound.
You will need to downgrade your PSP to 1.50 and then upgrade it to custom firmware

hey wichozzz,

great instructions.. thanks for that.. just befor i do this is this ok to do on slim psp's and what are the risks involved??
and also if i do this on my slim psp will i be able to play iso games for 1.5..

you'll be able to play any iso/cso games on the psp slim, but you will not be able to use any homebrew created on the 1.50 kernel.

@fugi09 there's no risks in doing this.pandora's trying to help you.even if you brick through flashing(which is practically impossible)then just start the process all over again.oh, btw, there's no risks when making the battery.
