Suspended due to non-functional email address

Hello I have a problem with internet explorer when i click on ie to access internet it just sits there for about 10 - 15 minutes (found waiting for reply) before it finally comes up with the page then everything works fine. Have tried lots of things disk check, defrag, etc.. Anyone have ideas

switch to firefox and (if ur that loyal) get a IE skin for firefox
