I would like to know if it is possible to change the DVD drive of my xbox with any DVD for PC?

I'm not sure if you can use all dvd drives, but you cannot just swap them. The drive must be modified in order for it to work in the system.

And if you do change the DVD drive you won't be able to run original games!

I swapped my thompson with a samsung SDG 616 drive and it works perfect in my xbox. It plays original games too.
