i have custom firmware 3.40 oe-a
when i go into recovery mode and press on configuration its empty, it just stays blank blue and cant really do anything, have to shut down.
2 days ago it was working.
if i can recall what i did before it happened was, put some games in my psp
metal gear solid portable "possible cause" ( when i open this game it loads and go blank and when i press home button its in japanese/chinese,)
some bowling game
super collapse
put some images on my psp, and put on a wallpaper(possible cause) not sure if im correct but it seems like when i puy on a wallpaper it resets my recovery settings.
e.g. 1.tried pes6(pro evolution soccer) works fine,
2.shutdown psp tried pes6 (game is wrong error 080808 etc)
3.shutdown again went to recovery menu, then advanced then disabled the middle line (boot.in etc)
4.pes6 works
ive also upgraded 2 other psp to 3.40 oe-a and putting wallpapers on those doesnt seem to affect anything settings.
maybe cus my psp is from china and original firmware is 3.50
other 2 psp from uk both firmware originally 2.71
anyone to quote on that
have anyone has any idea what made the configuration menu go blank and what i should do to prevent it from happening to the other psps, even though this menu hasn't has stop me from doin my homebrew stuff .....well at least not yet, i just feel something bad is going to happen by not being able to acess this.
1.went into recovery, then advanced, the toggle flash 1
2. deleted config.se and the menu is back and working
then i tried to put a back ground wallpaper and tried to see if this was the cause and yup it was. anyone got a solution to this background thing. its not too much a big deal but a backgpund would be nice, i mean having no background is better than having no recovery
