How do I find a co-op game in Halo 3?

Do I have to know friends to invite? Isn't there a way to find a co-op game that needs players?

I'm too old... none of my friends have Xbox360's...

i saw that you posted in the other thread about this so i assume you figured it out by now, you can not just join a game unless the player is either on your friends list or your recently played with list.

Kind of sucks the way that they set that up. But no worries, it looks like we may get a good few people in that thread to play with.
